I stumbled across this article this morning and just had to share it. Most of us already know how much better makeup can make us feel, and that a good SPF 30 moisturizer can help protect us from sunburn and premature aging, but who knew that it could also protect from serious injury?

It’s currently being tested by the military and also being developed for use by firefighters, and gives anywhere from 15 seconds to a full minute of protection from burns due to explosions or fire–potentially enough time to find cover.
